Immunology & Autoimmune Diseases

The immune system prevents the body from infection or other diseases, including cancer. Autoimmunity is a form of immune dysregulation in which the immune response is directed against normal body cells, tissues, or organs. In allergy and food intolerance, the immune system's reaction is inappropriate or inadequate.
These diseases are associated with non-physiological levels of specific (auto)antibodies of IgA, IgE, and IgG classes. CLIA tests aid to diagnose and monitor the progression of diseases such as SLE, rheumatoid arthritis, and IBD.
